Gystro Surgery Diagnostic / Surgical department

The department of Gastrointestinal Surgery has taken major strides in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology to reach the current status of a well established center for management of complex hepatopancreaticobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases. The volume of work has increased manifold covering the entire spectrum of digestive surgery including both GI Oncology and benign complex GI problems. The department has kept pace with the developments in the field of minimally invasive surgery, and now performs several GI procedures laparoscopically including Liver resections. The department is currently in process of setting up liver transplant program.
